Client: PLANNED PARENTHOOD

In 2015 a series of controversial and now-debunked attack videos were released on Planned Parenthood. While the videos did not damage the Planned Parenthood family of brands, it did increase awareness, creating an essential moment to strengthen brand perception and to reintroduce PP to young adults. The goal of the brand re-build would be to deepen and expand awareness of and trust in Planned Parenthood’s expert, quality care with a series of new media and creative distribution.

My role in the project was designing a Video Portal to house the new video series that PP produced for the project. Our goal with the microsite was to provide content in a highly sharable format to make supporter signup and action as simple as possible.  The site would facilitate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on the videos. We also embedded YouTube players within the site, to improve the brand's YouTube traction.

I was the sole UX/UI Designer on this project and managed its HTML/CSS development. I maintained adherence to the PP Style Guide, and executed quality assurance and inspection throughout product development. Along with designing the microsite, my roles in the brand re-build also include graphic design and art direction for a variety of digital media pieces.
